Membership of B.TA is strictly by invitation via an existing member. Once a year, our membership committee will review all applicants and an existing member will arrange to meet you to assess your suitability and level of commitment.

To qualify as British or "Brit-ish", you have to fulfil at least one of the following criteria:

• Hold a British passport

• Born in the UK

• Currently live in the UK

• Previously lived in the UK for at least five years

• Attended a British university

• Worked for a UK-based company for at least five years

• Invested in a UK-based company

• Founded or co-founded a UK-based company
